# GrantHub Ireland

> Done-for-you Housing Adaptation Grant application service for Irish families. We complete the paperwork, gather the documents, coordinate with the Occupational Therapist, and submit the grant application to the local council. Up to €40,000 of government funding for stairlifts, accessible bathrooms, home lifts, ramps and other home adaptations under the December 2024 revised scheme. We also handle the Mobility Aids Grant (up to €8,000). Republic of Ireland only — all 26 counties.

## About

We are not an installer. We are an independent application service operated by a 10-year veteran of the Irish stairlift and home-adaptation trade. Families pay us a flat fee to handle the entire grant application process so they don't have to figure the system out alone. Our job is to maximise the grant amount they receive and minimise the time the application takes. We work alongside vetted Irish installers but we do not sell lifts ourselves.

## Quick facts (verified April 2026)

- Housing Adaptation Grant (HAG): up to €40,000 (revised Dec 2024, up from €30,000); gross household income cap €75,000; covers stairlifts, accessible bathrooms, home lifts, ramps, widened doorways, ground-floor extensions for an accessible bedroom. Income scale: 100% of cost up to €37,500 income; 85% €37,501–€43,750; 75% €43,751–€50,000; 50% €50,001–€62,500; 30% €62,501–€75,000; nothing above €75,000. New builds (less than 12 months old) capped at half the maximum (€20,000 max).
- Mobility Aids Grant Scheme (MAG): up to €8,000; gross household income cap €30,000; covers stairlifts, grab rails, accessible bathing facilities, ramps.
- Stairlift cost: new straight €2,200–€5,000; new curved €5,000–€10,000+; reconditioned 30–40% cheaper.
- Home lift cost: new through-floor €20,000–€30,000+; reconditioned €10,000–€13,000.
- Accessible bathroom (full conversion): €6,000–€15,000 typically.
- OT report required; free via HSE or up to €300 reimbursable if private. Three written quotes required. Processing 4–12 weeks. Works must NOT begin before approval.
