What happens after you submit

  1. Within 3 hours (Mon to Fri, 9am to 6pm) we email you back with the grant that looks like the best fit, exactly what the application will involve for your county, and the next steps. It is free.
  2. You read it at your own pace. Any questions, just reply to the email or hit hello@thegranthub.ie.
  3. We point you to the documents the council will want (proof of income, proof of ownership, ID and so on) and what each one is for.
  4. We talk you through the parts people get stuck on: whether an Occupational Therapist report is needed, the three installer quotes the council asks for, and how to fill in the application form.
  5. You submit to your local council. The council issues a decision letter confirming the grant amount.
  6. The works go ahead, and the grant is paid on completion.

If urgent: Mark "Urgent — within 4 weeks" on the form. Several councils prioritise medically urgent applications, and we can flag this when we file.

If the grant is for someone other than yourself, who exactly?
