Common questions

What exactly do I get?

A written business plan and a 12-month cashflow, both built from your own answers, plus a checklist of what to attach. For a Microfinance Ireland loan you also get their application form filled in and the cashflow on their own spreadsheet. For an enterprise allowance you also get a prep sheet for the meeting with your adviser.

How long does it take?

Putting in your figures takes about ten minutes. After you pay, the questions about your business take about 20 minutes. Your pack is then prepared, checked by a person and emailed to you within two working days.

Do you write the plan, or do I?

You tell us about the business in your own words. We put it under the headings the funder asks for, tidy the wording and do the figures. The plan has to be yours, because you will be asked about it, so we keep it in your words and never invent anything.

Will I be approved?

We cannot promise that. The lender or the Department of Social Protection decides. What we promise is an application that is complete and clear, with nothing left vague.

What if my figures do not work?

You see your cashflow on screen before you pay anything. If the bank balance goes below zero it tells you which months, and you can change your figures as often as you like.

Do you need my bank statements or PPS number?

No. We never ask for a PPS number, a date of birth, bank statements or accounts. You add those yourself when you send the application.

Can I get my money back?

Yes. If the pack is not right for you, tell us within 14 days and we refund you in full.

Is this financial advice?

No. We prepare paperwork from what you tell us. We are not a lender, a broker or a financial adviser, and we take no payment from any lender.
