How this is worked out
The Back to Work Enterprise Allowance runs for two years. You keep all of your weekly payment in the first year and three quarters of it in the second.
The Short-Term Enterprise Allowance pays your Jobseeker's Benefit rate for as long as your benefit would have lasted. That is 9 months at most, or 6 months, less whatever you have already used.
The Enterprise Support Grant can add money towards start-up costs. You pay at least 20% of each cost yourself.
Your weekly rate is on your payment slip or in your MyWelfare account. Budget changes to weekly rates apply to the allowance too.
