What would the council take off your rates?
Pick the council and put in the yearly rates bill for the premises.

How this is worked out
Each council writes its own scheme. Most give a percentage off the rates bill that steps down over two to four years, and some cap the amount.
The calculator only lists councils whose current scheme we have read on the council's own website. If your council is not in the list, it may still have a scheme. Ask its rates office or its Local Enterprise Office.
Most schemes need the premises to have been empty for a set time, and most ask you to apply before or soon after you open. Read the council's terms before you sign a lease.
This tool gives an estimate from published rules. It is not a decision, and it is not financial advice. The body that runs the scheme always decides.
