How this is worked out
Enterprise Ireland, the accelerators, angel investors and seed funds back companies that can grow fast and sell abroad. A local business will not get that money, however good it is.
For a local business the realistic sources are an enterprise allowance if you are on a welfare payment, a Microfinance Ireland or credit union loan, your Local Enterprise Office, and your own or your family's money.
The picker shows the main sources for each kind of founder. It is a starting point, not advice.
This tool gives an estimate from published rules. It is not a decision, and it is not financial advice. The body that runs the scheme always decides.
