What it is
The package helps with energy costs and the TV licence. It is automatic for everyone aged 70 and over, and available earlier on certain payments.
How much you can get
€35/month + free TV licence energy allowance.
Who can get it
Anyone aged 70 or over (no means test). People aged 66 to 69 and some under-66s qualify if they get a qualifying payment and meet the conditions.
